About Isabella
I am an elementary Education college student who has a passion for reading and writing. I love English literature, traveling, learning new languages, painting, and surfing. I have two years of experience teaching from ages 5-30 for natives and non-natives. I speak Portuguese and some Spanish as well. I worked as an assistant teacher in Costa Rica, and I spent 6 weeks serving at a Christian Summer camp in Portugal this summer. I also have been teaching English on Preply since February.

I assess your knowledge of English and needs by conversation, listening and writing activities, and literature exercises. Then I compile a lesson specific to your level and interests. I have experience working with learners of other languages and I can adapt my teaching to help you improve your accent and vocabulary to sound native. I love grammar and writing so I can assist you with essays and assignments. My lessons are suitable for speakers of other languages, students from grades 1-9, and anyone who wants help reading and writing. I want to help you understand literature better and be able to convey your passions and feelings on paper.
