About Kayla
Hi! I’m Kayla, an elementary education major at Georgia Southern University, currently in my final year. I have hands-on experience working with K–5 students through my field placements, where I’ve helped with small group instruction, one-on-one support, and lesson planning.
I’m especially passionate about helping young students grow in reading and math. I enjoy making learning fun, engaging, and easy to understand, and I always try to meet each student where they are. I’ve worked with a range of learners, including those who need extra support and those who are ready for more of a challenge.
Outside of school, I’m patient, reliable, and love building positive relationships with kids and families. My goal is to help students feel more confident in themselves while improving their skills.

Hi! My name is Kayla, and I’m an elementary education major at Georgia Southern University, currently in my final year of my program. I have hands-on classroom experience working with K–5 students, including lesson planning, small group instruction, and one-on-one support in reading and math.
I specialize in helping young learners build confidence in foundational skills like phonics, reading comprehension, and basic math. I love making learning engaging and interactive, and I always adjust my teaching to fit each student’s needs and learning style.
