My goal is for my students to build their confidence and love of reading. We work towards this by making reading fun and by building a relationship of trust.
Sessions typically begin with reviewing the words my students had practiced between sessions. Then we play a game where we practice a phonics rule with each turn. This keeps students engaged while getting lots of practice reading.
