About Allison
As a tutor, I understand that building trust is just as important as building academic skills. With over 20 years of experience teaching elementary students and years of one-on-one tutoring, I bring not only deep content knowledge, but also patience, consistency, and a commitment to every child’s success. Students can count on me to be prepared, organized, and respectful of their time and learning pace. I take pride in creating a positive, encouraging environment where mistakes are treated as learning opportunities and progress is celebrated. I also take care to communicate clearly with both students and parents, so everyone feels informed and supported. My goal is always to help students feel capable and confident. I meet them where they are, tailor instruction to their needs, and make learning engaging and manageable.
