About Marisa
Hi, I’m Marisa! I am an elementary school teacher in Santa Monica, CA. I received my bachelor's degree and teaching credential from California State University Northridge. I have a passion for teaching and helping others. I also love hiking, cooking, singing, and riding my bike. I have been teaching for about 2 1/2 years, and love working with kids and adults. Providing a safe, and inclusive environment for learning is my top priority. I look forward to working with you!

Lessons will also involve various learning modes such as visuals (videos), manipulatives (when needed), and scaffolding. Lastly, my lessons are catered to meet the needs of each individual and their unique learning style.
