About Emily
I am a passionate and dedicated educator with a Master’s degree in Special Education from Lesley University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Psychology. I have 3 years of experience teaching phonics and mathematics to students in grades K–5.
I truly love teaching and helping children discover their strengths. I am patient, encouraging, and committed to creating a supportive learning environment where every student feels comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I believe that with the right guidance and encouragement, every child can build confidence and succeed.
My teaching approach is personalized to each student’s individual needs, learning style, and pace. Whether your child is developing foundational phonics skills, strengthening reading abilities, or building confidence in mathematics, I strive to make each lesson engaging, positive, and meaningful.
My background in special education, early childhood education, and psychology allows me to understand and support a wide range of learners. My goal is not only to help students improve academically, but also to help them become confident, motivated, and independent learners.
