About Roshena
Hi! I am an elementary school teacher currently teaching 2nd grade. I teach all subjects including Math, Science, Reading (ELA), and Social Studies. In the last few years, my classrooms have been designated for ESL and Bilingual students, so I have experience working with students from diverse backgrounds. I also teach night classes for adult learners who are studying for their GED or high school diploma. Outside of teaching, my hobbies and interests include painting, boxing, and learning about different cultures and languages. I am currently learning Spanish and Turkish.

My teaching style is very fun, laid-back, and engaging. I love to find ways to get my students to learn while having fun. I believe it’s important to be comfortable making mistakes because this is how we improve. I am also a firm believer in meeting students at their levels and adjusting to their individual learning styles, which is why my teaching strategies are tailored to meet my students' individual needs.
