About Robin
I have a master's degree from Frostburg State University, was a substitute teacher for Washington County and Frederick County for six years. I have been teaching in Montgomery County grades 3-5 for six years. I teach all subjects: math, reading, writing, science, social studies, and health.

I have experience working with students grades kindergarten through fifth grade. I believe in meeting students where they are in their learning. I want to get to know the student's personality and their unique strengths and needs. Learning about the student helps me to know how best to teach them and how to support them. We will start with reviewing things based on the students' grade level to help narrow down what they need. During tutoring sessions, we will start with a warm-up, talk about our goals for that day, make connections to prior knowledge and with scaffolding practice the skills for the day.
