About René
I am a Genetics and Cytology graduate currently pursuing a Forensic Science Honours degree. Being a bookworm and an English fanatic led to an advanced level of studying, interpretating, understanding and applying the language making it simple to teach others. I have great experience in creative writing and have published successful online literature. I believe that English is a beautiful subject that is often misunderstood to be a difficult one. As someone who initially found it's usage challenging, I understand how to help students grasp difficult concepts in the simplest ways.

I believe that students learn better especially when what they learn genuinely interests them, therefore I implement strategies such as asking them to interpret mainstream English games, series, movies and music, and actively incorporating these interesting elements into the syllabus. Since every individual is different, catering to their specific needs and clearing all areas of confusion pertaining to English is my main goal. I aim to help my student understand in a way such that they gain confidence and a positive attitude towards the language and it's usage. Since an individual may need more assistance with a specific aspect of English such as creative writing, or literature interpretation, I believe it is necessary to first and foremost establish all grey areas to set the pace of what needs to be improved and what requires more attention compared to the other subject components.
