About Nikita
Work hard, play hard! I am an Emory University college student with a passion for learning and sharing my knowledge. I have 4+ years of experience tutoring, both in professional and volunteer settings, and I am always looking for new ways to help the community learn and grow. I mainly specialize in mathematics (highest level: Calculus II) and writing, but I am always open to additional subject suggestions!

I vary my teaching style depending on what my students feel is best, as many students learn in different ways. In large groups, I tend to allow students to work in groups, as I believe collaboration is not only a great life-skill, but a great study-motivator as well! For one-on-one tutoring, I generally let me students decide what they prefer. I usually allow them to solve questions on their own time, and then – when questions arise – I handle them one-by-one, brainstorming real-world examples and constructing additional practice problems tailored to the students' needs. Communication, dedication, and positivity are my three key values!
