About Mj
I am a first-year student at Emory University who scored a 35 on the ACT. With a strong academic background and experience mentoring peers, I bring patience, clarity, and proven strategies to help students achieve their goals. My focus is on building confidence, improving test-taking skills, and tailoring lessons to each student’s unique strengths. I tailor each lesson to the student’s learning style so they stay engaged and confident. Before we begin, I have students take a short practice exam to identify strengths and weaknesses. I then reinforce their strengths and turn their weaknesses into strengths through targeted strategies, successful test-taking methods, and frequent practice exams. I offer both online and in-person sessions, giving students the flexibility they need to succeed.

Perfect! Marlon is a great tutor. He is professional and comincates clearly and in a timely manner while setting up lessons. He asks students questions about how they learn effectively and adjusts his tutoring accordingly. He does a great job communicating with students during sessions. He send prompt feedback and follow-up after sessions. Highly recommend for ACT prep.
