About Anjie
Passion is not found in nature or made up of multiple chemical elements, nor is it easily tangible or bought. After deciding that I did not want to go to law school and instead chose to pursue teaching, I embarked on an amazing journey that would lead me to indulge in and experience the beauty of molding and shaping the lives of our future.
My educational background and experience has helped in shaping my perspective in teaching and learning. After graduating from high school in Trinidad & Tobago, my sister and I got got scholarships to study in Brooklyn, New York. After completing my master's degree, I decided that the world was an adventure waiting to happen - so I got a job in Dubai to teach high school English.
I have gained tremendous teaching experience in different countries. As a result, I have received a great exposure to different cultures, which has enhanced and enriched my teaching skills. I absolutely loved each minute spent in classroom as it was such a learning experience for me - plus I loved my students :)

I am a native English speaker and I have obtained a BA and Ma in English. I have taught high school English for 13 years in different countries. If you need help preparing for exams such as IGCSE English, AP English Language & Composition, AP English Lit & Composition, IELTS, TOEFL and even SATs, then look no further!
I have taught in countries such as, Trinidad & Tobago, New York, United Arab Emirates, and Qatar. I have also taught EAP and Business English at a university in Dubai. Since moving to Ireland 5 years ago, I obtained my qualifications in career coaching and I have now enhanced my teaching skills with professional career coaching guidance.
As an educator, I understand that everyone learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to suit your individual needs and learning style. I focus on providing concise and clear explanations, ensuring that you grasp concepts quickly and efficiently.
