As a current sixth grade math and science teacher with experience teaching second grade, I use research-based, student-centered instruction to make learning clear, engaging, and confidence-building. My tutoring sessions are structured yet flexible, beginning with a quick check-in to identify strengths and gaps, followed by targeted instruction using visuals, real-world examples, and guided practice, and ending with independent practice and goal setting. Supported by a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, I tailor each lesson to meet individual learning needs and help students build strong foundational skills.
