About Maria
I am an Industrial Engineer with an MBA, and I’ve built my career as a product manager in fintech and edtech companies. However, my passion for math started very early in my life and has always driven me to share my knowledge through teaching. Throughout my career, I have consistently tutored as a side hustle, helping students of all levels develop a strong understanding of math.
My engineering background, combined with years of professional experience, allows me to offer a structured and practical approach to learning. I understand the importance of building confidence in students, and I’m dedicated to making complex concepts approachable and easy to grasp. With a commitment to excellence and a passion for teaching, I ensure that every student receives the support they need to succeed.

As a tutor, I believe in adapting to each student's unique learning needs. Before every session, I will ask the student where they want to focus so that I can prepare specifically for those topics. I also request the materials given in school, which allows us to review them together and ensures that I can explain the concepts according to what they need to know.
A typical lesson involves going through several exercises together, breaking down each step for clarity. After that, the student will have the opportunity to practice with me, ensuring they fully grasp the material. My goal is to build confidence by making math approachable and understandable.
My lessons are designed for students from primary school to high school, whether they are looking to strengthen their foundation in math or excel in more advanced topics. What sets me apart is my passion for math and my engineering background, which allows me to make complex concepts easier to understand in a practical, relatable way.
