About Lina
Hello! My name is Lina. I hold an engineering degree in Industrial Bioengineering, completed with highest distinction, and a master’s degree in Experimental Health Sciences specializing in bioinformatics. I am also a co-author of a peer-reviewed scientific publication.
My academic background has provided me with a strong foundation in mathematics, science, analytical thinking, and problem-solving. It has also taught me how to organize complex information and explain it in a clear and accessible way.
Alongside my academic experience, I spent more than two years professionally supporting young people with diverse learning and support needs. I also worked closely with families to understand individual needs and encourage progress. This experience strengthened my patience, empathy, active listening, and ability to adapt my communication to each person.
I speak English, French, and Arabic, which allows me to support students from different linguistic backgrounds. I am organized, reliable, encouraging, and committed to creating a positive learning experience. Students and parents can expect respectful communication, careful preparation, and lessons tailored to the learner’s individual needs.

My online lessons are designed for students who need personalized support in Math, Science, French, or Arabic. Each lesson is adapted to the student’s current level, learning pace, school material, and individual goals.
Before the lesson, students or parents may share the topic, worksheet, or homework they would like to review. We begin by identifying what the student already understands and where support is needed. I then break challenging concepts into simple steps, explain them using clear examples, and guide the student through practice exercises. The lesson ends with independent practice and a brief recap.
In Math and Science, I help students understand key concepts, develop problem-solving strategies, complete homework, and prepare for tests. French and Arabic lessons can include reading, vocabulary, grammar, writing, pronunciation, and conversation.
My approach is patient, structured, and encouraging. I create a respectful environment where students can ask questions and make mistakes without feeling judged. If one explanation is not clear, I use a different method or example.
My goal is to help every student understand, gain confidence, and become a more independent learner. When appropriate, parents can receive a brief update about the concepts covered, the student’s progress, and what should be practiced next.
