About Naina
I worked in tech for more than 5 years after graduating as an engineer and doing an MBA from IIM. After years of getting good grades across school and college, and sometimes struggling to do so, I have honed my skills in both learning and teaching well.
I am now channeling my love for teaching and for math and science through this. I like to tailor my lessons according to my students - meeting them where they are. My main aim, as a big-time fan of Hank and John Green, is to educate and learn while having fun along the way.

With a Bachelors in Engineering in Electronics and an MBA from IIM Calcutta, I bring my lifelong love and skills in math and science to my students.
My lessons clarify the basics and build up in complexity depending on where my student is at currently. I like to use examples from the real-world to make concepts easy to understand.
Imagination and intuition walk alongside rigour and evidence in math and science. My aim is to instil an appreciation for both creativity and rationality. If your critical thinking skills are sharpened this way, you will come to love the beauty of math and science instead of fearing them.
I teach high-school level math, physics and chemistry.
American curriculum, IB curriculum, ISCE, CBSE boards are all within my ken.
My primary aim is to build a good foundation and understanding concepts well. A natural outcome of that is eventually getting good grades.
I am also open to middle-schoolers, or adults wanting to continue education - you can reach out and we can explore how to work together.
