About Blaire
My fascination with engineering emerged from a desire to understand how things work and how problems can be solved through innovation. Over ten years, I have guided students to transform curiosity into practical skills, helping them build both confidence and competence in technical problem-solving.
I focus on adaptability, clarity, and experiential learning. Each student is unique, and I tailor lessons to nurture strengths while addressing challenges. Encouraging experimentation, reflection, and persistence is central to my approach.
Outside of teaching, I remain engaged with technological advancements, design innovations, and real-world applications. Bringing these perspectives into lessons allows students to see engineering as a living, evolving field. Teaching engineering is more than instruction — it is cultivating the next generation of innovators, problem-solvers, and creators.

Engineering is a discipline that transforms ideas into tangible solutions. My lessons start by introducing students to core concepts such as forces, materials, energy, and systems. I emphasize understanding the principles behind every design or experiment, helping students develop critical thinking skills that extend beyond formulas. Lessons are hands-on, encouraging experimentation, observation, and iterative improvement.
As learners advance, they engage in project-based tasks, including model building, simulations, and problem-solving exercises that mimic real-world engineering challenges. This approach strengthens both analytical reasoning and creative thinking. Students learn to plan, test, evaluate, and refine their designs, building confidence and practical understanding through each step.
