I am engineering pass out, currently preparing for govt. exam but want to spend my extra time as a tutor and teach & prepare the engineering aspirants about how to crack for Engineering colleges afterward how perform well in that 4 years of their life both technically and academically.

My methodology is first to tell them what are they gonna learn and in what ways it is important for them. I also start teaching them by telling them how the topic they are studying had engenders and emerged, talk about the history of that subject would work.
Then I start teaching them from very basic and relate the technical terms with the real world how those things they are looking them on paper are working in the surrounding and how they are connected with them so that the students get enough enthusiasm and get fascinated about the topic they are gonna learn.
Most importantly always encourage them to ask questions no matter how funny or sometime stupid questions they ask and answer all their queries with a relevant explanation and a charming smile.
I must also updated myself that in what manner when you explain, they learn quickly.
A student will forget if you just tell them the information to learn things we have to involve them and a lecture should be interactive not just one sided.
