About Tighe
I have a first in Geological Sciences BSc and a merit in Engineering Geology MSc from the University of Leeds.
I got an A* at Geology A level and took geography GCSE.
I am currently working in industry so am further from the exact syllabuses but enjoy helping others and talking through geological subjects. I stay up to date with discoveries and new case studies, and will aim to help as much as I can with 3D thinking.

I teach based purely on the individual need of the student, to explain concepts in a way they will understand from the beginning to the end.
I find the best teaching focuses on areas of most interest, the basics to allow for further understanding or areas of importance for examinations.
However, this depends entirely on the student and the level of knowledge they already have and I will work to match that. We will start by working up a plan of areas to address, to what knowledge level is needed and the process to accomplish those goals. Then take as much time as needed for the student - fast or slow!
