About Madihah
Hi! My name is Madihah, and I’ve been teaching Mathematics and Additional Mathematics since 2015 through private one-to-one sessions. I have a strong background in Mathematics, Science, and Engineering, and I’ve always enjoyed helping students see that Math isn’t something to fear. It can actually be fun and logical when explained the right way. Although I have a full-time professional career, teaching has always been my passion. There’s something deeply rewarding about seeing a student go from struggling with a concept to finally saying, “Oh, I get it now!” That moment of understanding is what keeps me teaching year after year. I want to teach because I believe every student can succeed with the right guidance and approach. My goal is to make learning Mathematics simpler, more engaging, and to help my students gain confidence not just in exams, but in how they think and solve problems in life.

My teaching approach focuses on understanding rather than memorization. I usually begin by assessing the student’s current knowledge and identifying areas that need improvement. From there, I explain concepts using simple language and real-life examples to make Mathematics more relatable and less intimidating. I encourage active participation through guided problem-solving, short exercises, and discussions on exam techniques and time management, particularly for Additional Mathematics.
I have been teaching Modern Mathematics and Additional Mathematics since 2015 through private one-to-one tutoring sessions for both primary and secondary school students, especially those preparing for SPM. This experience has helped me develop strong adaptability in my teaching methods and the ability to simplify complex concepts according to each student’s learning style. Teaching has remained my passion, and I continue to dedicate my time to helping students build confidence and excel in Mathematics.
Each lesson typically lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the student’s focus and progress. My lessons are mainly designed for upper secondary students (Form 4 and Form 5), but I also work with younger learners who wish to strengthen their foundation before advancing. I take pride in creating an encouraging and supportive learning environment where students feel motivated to explore, understand, and achieve excellence in Mathematics.
