About Ann
I am a recent Chemical Engineering graduate from the university of Sheffield. I have been tutoring online for the past two months where I give hour-long lessons to 2 students weekly. I am currently helping them with GCSE maths- both foundation and higher level- however I studied Chemistry and Biology at A-Levels and I loved both subjects so I want to go into tutoring those as well!

I currently teach 2 GCSE students in Maths. My lessons start with a 5 minute starter activity to get in "the zone" followed by the lesson and a short summary activity at the end of the lesson to recap and test what was learned. I teach mostly by getting the students to do questions because learning by doing is the most effective method. However, I tailor the teaching style to suit each student so each lesson's methodology is different!
