About Clement
Hi, I'm Clement,
I am a recent graduate of the University of Southampton with a Masters degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
In my experience as a student myself, I found that developing my intuition is significantly more effective than working hard memorising boring facts. My passion for tutoring comes from my own experience where I benefited greatly from teachers who strove to focus not plainly on exam results, but on the development of the critical thinking of their pupils.
My goal is to help you develop skills to not only solve problems, but to understand how to approach certain problems, why the solutions work, enabling you to build a foundation for lifelong learning.
My teaching approach is structured and built on three core principles. First, we will start with Strategic Goal-Setting to analyse your goals and timeframe to create a clear and reasonable plan. Next, we will proceed with Problem-Based Learning, concentrating on memorable examples and exam-style questions to build your skills and confidence. Finally, we will reinforce that knowledge with Intuition by Repetition, working through concepts until they become second nature, with problems getting easier the more you work at it.
I specialise in teaching Maths and Physics for GCSE and A-Level students, as well as tutoring beginner to intermediate Python.

My goal is to develop your thinking beyond memorisation to a deep understanding of maths, physics and programming. As an engineering graduate, I focus on why concepts work and how to apply them to solve real problems. Let's work together to build your confidence and equip you with critical thinking skills that will stick with you for the rest of your life.

I hold a Master's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Southampton. I have tutored peers and juniors throughout my university life.
