About Jas
I did an Engineering degree in 2009 and then went to work for a bank. After a decade of work, I decided to do things that I feel passionate towards. Now I am back in academia, working towards a Master's in Machine Learning. I was once a bad student who asked too many questions and nobody answered them. Then I found a tutor who helped me build my maths muscle. The trick is, he was willing to put in the time. Today, I am at that stage, where I can help someone, like mathematics, and be good at it.

I work on 3 things. 1. Building your Mathematical Intuition. It is a real thing - look it up. Numbers should not be abstract symbols floating on paper. They should mean something. And then the solution starts to appear intuitively. 2. Lot of practice - I know some of you will do the homework, while for others, we will do it together in class. But practice will be done regardless. 3. Spaced Repetition. It is a way the mind remembers. When we move from one topic to another, it does not mean that the previous one is now sent to a mental abyss, to be recovered at the time of the exam. We will keep bringing up the problems every now and then, so that the learning sticks. With these ingredients in place, it is literally quite difficult for you to not do well at maths. So, let's get started. And if you do not have a learning roadmap, then worry not, we will build one together.
