About Menaka
I am an Electrical and Electronics Engineering graduate with strong academic, teaching, and research experience. I have worked as a Teaching Assistant at a university, where I supported undergraduate students with lectures, laboratory sessions, tutorials, practical work, and academic activities in Electrical and Electronic Engineering subjects.
I have also worked as an Assistant Lecturer, teaching and supporting university students in subjects such as Circuit Theory and Control Systems Engineering. This experience has helped me understand how to explain difficult technical concepts in a simple, clear, and step-by-step manner.
My academic background includes studies toward a Master’s in Optoelectronics Engineering at Xidian University, China, where I also gained research experience. Currently, I am studying a Master of Professional Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ), Australia.
My teaching areas include Mathematics, Circuit Theory, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Analog and Digital Electronics, Control Systems, Power Electronics, and related subjects.
As a tutor, I am patient, friendly, and supportive. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions. I focus not only on helping students find the correct answer but also on making sure they understand the concepts and can confidently solve similar problems independently.
