About Conall
Hi there, I am an Engineering Master's graduate from Imperial College London. Having only just finished my degree, I am closely familiar with the maths curriculum content and the ways it is taught. I remember my college neglected the students applying to the top tier universities, and I want to help aspirational students achieve the highest levels if possible, and otherwise to inspire students to love the subject the way I do. I am an avid chess player, the former President of the Windsurfing society, I love football, basketball and tennis and I am very friendly! Please reach out!

Lessons will follow the 'Teach like a Champion' and CPA (Concrete, Pictorial and Abstract) guidance, lasting up to 90 minutes, for students from academic years 7 - 12 (GCSE/A-Level). This will include the opportunity to review difficult homework questions, refresh the student's understanding of previous topics (with worksheets to combine approaches), and the introduction of multiple methodologies for tackling new problems. I would look to encourage critical thinking, with students leading the way in their own development and understanding. I also understand the importance of establishing a nurturing relationship and building trust, so that students feel comfortable making mistakes. I have experience tutoring in a classroom environment, and working with young children (nursery).
