About Adrin
I have years of experience teaching math and science to multiple tens of students at middle-to-high school and college levels. I have taught algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus at various levels of difficulty. I have also taught the math and science components of the ACT exam, as well as (P)SAT math (various levels) to high school juniors and seniors.

I have a small engineering company focusing on the development of mathematically sophisticated software for simulation of air flow around helicopters, blood flow in heart pumps, and other similarly complex physical phenomena.
Tutoring in math is my way of giving back to the society and to encourage our youth to consider math and science as their career option.
My teaching philosophy is simple. I strongly encourage self-reliance, independent thinking, and hard work. To this end, I insist that my students do the work, and I only "nudge" them in the right direction when/where they get stuck. I do not "spoon feed" solutions and avoid cookie-cutter instruction sets; I explain/discuss the fundamentals and allow the students to discover the solutions on their own, which slowly builds up their self-confidence in math.
