About Sebastien
Hello, My name is Sebastien and I am a recently graduated Engineering Physics student from Queens University. I grew up in Toronto and have always had a passion for math and physics. I started tutoring back in high school and was a peer mentor. In university, I have honed my studying and test-taking skills for countless difficult engineering exams and am excited to pass on my strategies and knowledge to help you ace your courses. I have achieved the dean's list every semester of my undergraduate studies and maintained a 3.98 GPA. In high school, I achieved the top marks in both functions and calculus of 100%. I love teaching and have spent 4 summers as a sailing instructor and have worked as a TA for undergraduate physics courses during my studies. I am excited to teach you what I have learned and help you through your course content!

I take an active approach to teaching and prefer in-person instruction. The strategy I have used to ace my university exams is repetition and understanding the kind of questions that are going to be asked by heart. My favorite trick is to make yourself "cheat sheet" which is something that would give you all the information you would need to ace a test and in making it you learn all the content on it to a point where you do not even need it answering questions. I am understanding of different learning styles too as I have worked for 4 years as a sailing instructor for kids ages 7-15 who all learn in their own special ways.
