About Javier
Hi, I'm Javier, I'm 17 years old and I'm currently studying Electronic Engineering at the Javeriana University. Since I was very young I have felt a great passion for helping my classmates to understand topics that are difficult for them, especially in mathematics, an area in which I have always had a strong ability.
Over the years, I have honed my teaching skills by helping both my classmates and friends at the university. This process has not only allowed me to improve my ability to communicate complex concepts in a simple way, but it has also helped me to reinforce my own knowledge. Every time I get someone to understand a subject thanks to my explanations, I feel a great personal and academic satisfaction.
That is why I have decided to go a step further and offer my services as a tutor, with the intention of helping more people overcome their academic difficulties. I am here to provide you with personalized support and help you achieve your learning goals.

My teaching approach focuses on understanding the student, knowing their needs and facilitating their learning process. In advance of each class, I prepare by reviewing the subject matter and anticipating potential difficulties students may face. With this in mind, I structure the class in a way that addresses these common difficulties effectively.
At the beginning of class, I introduce myself and spend some time getting to know the student a bit so that I can identify the areas in which he needs help and adapt to his needs. To identify his areas of difficulty, I ask him to briefly explain the topic and present him with some simple exercises, which we then discuss together.
Based on the results of these exercises and your explanations, I will provide you with a solution or create a new approach tailored to your particular situation. This will be accompanied by a series of specific exercises to reinforce what you have learned. I will maintain a balance between theoretical and practical explanations as needed.
Solutions may include graphical demonstrations or analogies, which I might illustrate on a board. After each section, I will grant a short break for the student to process the information received.
