About Jessica
Hi, I'm Jess and currently a student at Durham University. At Durham, I am studying Engineering. This started at a young age of liking cars and bikes and anything loud and fast and had an engine.
This led to me studying Maths, Physics and Chemistry at A-Level and then onto Engineering at University.
I also play football and have done it since I was 4, so I can understand having a busy academic school life and active life.
So I can empathise with the struggle of fitting everything in and can offer advice on how I managed to do everything I wanted and study to achieve the grades too.
I'm very chatty and helpful and always want to go that extra mile with helping students with work or problems. From sending extra revision resources that I have created or found, or checking up with students to see that revision and work are going well. I know how stressful exam and revision periods can be so having that extra support is essestial.

Going over the content of what is known and then filling the gaps is important and then applying this to questions and understanding the processes.
I believe learning and working with a fellow student such as myself enables any student going through exams to benefit from already tried and tested revision and working techniques. Techniques which I believe are essential for later study.
I always strive to create a dynamic of working alongside students rather than a strict teacher dynamic.
I think working through problems or processes together enables the students to pick up methodical approaches which can be applied in the test and exam situations.
1-2 hour lessons are available.
I have worked as a GCSE and A-Level Maths, Physics and Chemistry tutor whilst I complete a degree in Engineering at Durham.
My lessons offered are for GCSE and A-Level students.

Jessica is a very conscientious tutor with a desire to understand the subject matter , plan out and deliver the session and interactively work with the student to ensure it has been understood.
