About Chua
I am a bilingual (Chinese/English) Civil Engineering Student from Malaysia. I am a Chinese native speaker. I studied Chinese as a main subject for 11 years, and speaks Chinese on a daily basis. I speak standard Chinese. I won awards in Chinese Cultural Contest. I have experience in teaching my classmates Chinese in highschool but this is my first time tutoring so I hope we can learn and improve together.

I give lessons in which students can learn through everyday life examples. Given the situation now, I give online lessons to those who wishes to speak, read and write Chinese. I will structure the lesson base on the needs of the students. I will normally start with basics such as pinyin and some simple words, then progress gradually towards frequently used phrases and vocabularies. I will also provide lessons on ways to reduce accents while speaking Chinese by having conversations and video clips.
