I am familiar with the interpretation and utilization of many of the new methods of teaching mathematics. I believe that the most effective way to help students see success is through using their in-class curriculum to guide our sessions. I like to tutor by identifying strengths and weaknesses within a topic, finding the fundamental misunderstandings and building a strong foundation to support current and future math achievement. I prefer to lean on real-world examples to help provide a basis for abstract concepts.
