About James
I am currently a student at Austin College in Sherman, Texas, and am studying to become an electrical engineer. I scored a 1530 on my SAT, and I have always enjoyed math and science classes. I am employed as a tutor for calculus and physics at my school, and I currently teach Calculus I and II and Physics I, II, and III to college students. I have extensive experience tutoring these students, and I have heard numerous times that my tutoring saved their grade. In my free time, I tutor physics to high school students in Sherman as a part of the service program at my school as well.

I approach teaching with a hands-on method that dives immediately into the text, and I try to stray away from unnecessary abstraction and theoretical talk. In my experience, students often learn much faster when they work through problems as they go. My job is to facilitate that process as much as possible.
