About Lucas
My name is Lucas Powell. I am a current mechanical engineering major at the University of Cincinnati. I am a distinguished graduate of Springboro High School, the school got rid of valedictorian and salutatorian so this was their substitute. I graduated with a 4.46 GPA. I mainly took math, physics, and French courses in high school. I scored a 5 on the AP Calculus BC exam and a 4 on the AP Physics I exam. My non-school related interests are Magic the Gathering, Dungeons and Dragons, cars, bowling, board games, and video games. My main goal is for you to learn, not to give you a sense of worry about school. In my opinion the most important factor in being able to learn is liking what you are learning about.

My teaching method is to get a grasp of what you personally struggle with and tailor questions and lessons suiting your needs. My lessons would be best for highschoolers taking beginning calculus and physics courses. I would begin the first lesson by getting to know what you struggle on and giving some simpler and general questions. I would then begin to make a tailor made study plan so you can get the most out of your tutoring. All lessons will have to be at the University of Cincinnati's Uptown Campus, because I do not have a means of transportation. Please disregard the fact that it says lessons will take place at a house. They will either be in the library or an on campus study room.
