I am an engineering student, and I have been giving lessons for the past year, on my previous school, to learners who are in need of help and they actually achieve the marks which they want, others get As and others Bs.

During a lesson, if for example I teach, I’ll check if learners do understand what I have taught or not, if they do not understand, I check where they lack the understanding and stick on that. I understand that learners are different and they’re rate of understanding is not the same, so I usually divide the class to groups of 5 or less in order for them to understand me very well and have the courage to ask me questions if they need clarity in certain things. This helps them a lot because some learners are afraid to ask questions in front of the whole class.
