About Hetav Kirit
I am an undergraduate student studying computer engineering at the University of Toronto. I have experience of tutoring a lot of high school and first-year university students.
I completed my high school education in India with mathematics (score - 99/100) and physics (score-99/100) as my core subjects. I was awarded with the “Student of the Year” trophy for securing the first rank in my state (Gujarat) in the final examinations conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education of India in March, 2019. I am also the recipient of the Scholar's Award scholarship awarded by the University of Toronto.

My teaching methodology includes thorough explanation of the concept followed by a problem solving session. I like to explain concepts by introducing visual aids like graphs, models and videos. The problem solving session mainly focuses on the tricky part of the concept to allow students to dig deeper into the course content. After each lecture I give students an example of a real life situation where the concept is used to make them understand how the concepts that they are learning are associated with the world around them. I end each session with a homework problem that requires brainstorming to motivate a student to engage in self-learning.
