About Maddie
Hello! I’m Maddie, a 19-year-old mechanical engineering major with a real passion for helping others truly get math and physics. I love breaking down complex topics like algebra, precalculus, calculus, and physics concepts—into clear, step-by-step explanations so you not only solve the problem but understand why it works and how to apply it in real life (which is huge in engineering!).
As someone who’s recently navigated these exact courses in high school and college, I know how frustrating they can feel at first, and how rewarding they become once things click. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and interactive: we work through examples together, tackle puzzles (I love them!), and build confidence so you can handle any challenge independently.
Outside of tutoring, I’m all about solving fun puzzles, spending time with animals (they’re the best stress-relievers!), and traveling whenever I can, it keeps life exciting and gives me fresh ways to explain concepts with real-world analogies.
