About Max
I am a second year student in the University of Bristol studying Engineering Mathematics. I have now been tutoring 5 Further Maths and Maths students for a year, helping them sit their mock exams well and also make sure they are prepared for their entrance examinations in top tier universities in the UK.

I believe that a tutor should not spoon-feed the answer to the student, but rather act as a guiding hand to help the student find the solution to a problem themselves, as that is when they truly learn and get a good grasp of the material. I also make sure that my students understand the content rather than memorise it, as any formula can always be looked up, but is of little use if a student doesn't know what to do with it and how to apply it efficiently.
