About Holly
I am currently teaching students English as an Additional Language at the elementary level. I love what I do, and am passionate about understanding how each of my students learns best, and tailoring my teaching approach and content to what suits their needs best! I have a background in educational psychology, and understand that some students may struggle to learn with a 'traditional' classroom approach. I want to get to know where my students are experiencing learning challenges first, before I begin to create a tutoring program for them. My tutoring sessions are a safe and inclusive environment where trying your best, even if you make a mistake, is encouraged!

With a background in educational psychology, and a career in teaching elementary students English as an additional language, my passion for education is evident. I have found that the most effective way to teach students, is to tailor the lessons to their personal learning abilities. Everyone learns differently, and by personalizing my teaching approach and content, each student is able to learn the same curriculum as their peers in a way that works best for them! As I am currently teaching English Language Arts at the elementary level, I am able to tutor students from grades K-8. I am also able to provide essay writing guidance to High School students.
