About Chloe
I'm currently studying for an Undergraduate Degree in English and Creative Writing in my second year at Queen's University. I have previous experience tutoring whilst I was studying my A-Levels through a scheme run through my school.
I've always enjoyed studying English and enjoyed my time where I got to assist those younger than me with texts I had thoroughly enjoyed myself when I was in the earlier years of my studies.
I've found throughout my Academic Career that studying a subject under a teacher or a tutor who is thoroughly enjoying the content they are teaching makes for a much more pleasant experience and encourages an environment through which students can effectively expand their knowledge and satisfy their curiosity. That is the environment I am striving to create.

Online, remote tutoring in Primary School Entrance Examination preparation and English Literature and Language up to a GCSE level.
Entrance Examination Preparation tutoring will involve past paper practice. I will then run through the past papers with the students and take notes of problem areas for us to work through in that lesson. Past papers should be conducted in spare time.
These sessions will last 1-2 hours depending on preference. The lesson will be split up into two parts, firstly where we discuss this week's past paper which should have already been completed outside of tutoring, and then the second half will be tackling problem areas.
English Literature and Language tutoring will consist of revising the course content for that age group. An initial assessment will be taken to understand where the tutee is with their studies as well as the areas they struggle with within their course.
With literature, I will work in developing further your child's skills with analysing prose and poetry that will assist them if they chose to move onto a higher academic level with the subject. This further study will be conducted on the texts that the child is already studying in their course, as well as additional texts of the same level for them to have extra practice.
These lessons will also range anywhere from 1-2 hours depending on preference.
If preferred, two 1 hour slots can be arranged throughout the week for the same price as a singular two hour slot.
