About Marina
Hi, my name is Marina and I am a university student studying a Bachelor of Education. I enjoy helping students learn and explaining things in a simple and clear way. I want to teach because I like helping students build confidence and improve in English and Math.

My approach to tutoring is to explain things in a clear and simple way so students can understand easily. I break down topics step by step and use examples, reading, small activities and practice questions to help students learn. I also encourage students to ask questions so they feel comfortable and confident while learning.
My lessons usually run for 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the student’s needs and attention span. During the lesson we practise English and Maths, including reading, writing, spelling, comprehension and basic maths skills.
I have experience tutoring an infant student before, which helped me develop patience and communication skills when working with younger learners.
My lessons are for Kindy to Year 3 students who need help improving their English and Maths skills. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students can build confidence and improve at school.
