About Tamar

I offer private classes for all levels and ages. How do I make sure of the student's progress? -Using books that can be personalized depending on the needs and interests of each student. In my classes the books are adapted to the student and not the other way around. -Focusing on all academic aspects of English during each class (grammar and vocabulary, reading, conversation and writing) in equal parts. -Only speaking in English during classes. The best way to learn a language is by speaking and listening to it continuously! -Repeating and repeating. Repetition is one of the keys to my teaching method. Everything learned is repeated throughout the classes to prevent the student from forgetting the previous content. In addition, books introduce new content in a simple way so that they can be assimilated without the need to study. How are the classes organized? -For students who have some level, a reading, oral comprehension and oral and written expression test will be carried out in the 1st class. After the results, the books will be adapted to the student's level and will include lessons on the mistakes made in the exam so that the student can start classes with a firm foundation of the language. -In the second class, the student (and parents) will receive a study program with monthly objectives and the material that will begin to be used in the classes. The program to follow and the expected evolution of the student will be explained and the classes will begin! According to the ages: -Children over 4 years old can learn to read in English. Letters are learned with animals, which makes learning easier. At the same time additional vocabularies are taught with games. At the end of the book (of the letters) the student will be able to read (4-5 letter words) and communicate with the vocabulary learned. -Classes for students between 7 and 9 years old are focused on learning by playing. The books are easy and fun and are filled with characters from current animated series that help the student feel motivated and interested in the material. -The study plan for those over 10 years of age varies according to the student's level. The books cover from the most basic information to understanding complex texts and writing them. The classes focus on conversation, audiovisual elements and interesting readings and, simultaneously, on advancing the grammar and vocabulary book.
