About Cinthia Carolina
My career as teacher started three years ago as a particular. Some time after, I had the chance to start working in a language center, where I continue giving classes to mixed groups. Some of them have been kids, the majority of teenagers and youngsters, and one or two adults; on a basic, intermediate and advanced level.
Also, in my professional practices I have worked with high school and junior high school groups of 30-50 people, giving courses and workshops.

My name is Cinthia Jimenez, I'm currently studying the ninth semester of psychology at the Universidad de Guadalajara. I specialized in educational psychology as well as special educational psychology, among others. I understand how the learning process works, just as diverse pedagogic methodologies.
I started learning English at the age of four since I was enrolled in a private school (Centro Infantil Unión Americana) where I was formed, not only, academically and personally, but also cemented the foundations of which is my second language, which I perfected for five years, after having graduated from elementary school, in the Mexican American Cultural Institute of Guadalajara, obtaining the TOEFL TPI certification.
The methodology is based on Piagetian Constructivism as well as the Theory of Meaningful Learning. The person learns as its very own capabilities. It starts from the basics to the most complex. The difference is that it won't be the typical class where verbs or words are stored, neither translation will be literal. You will learn to understand English in the same way Spanish is learned, naturally. This will be achieved through exercises, readings, and the use of other resources. Such as songs, poems, or any cultural work created in the English language.
I specialize in children and teenagers, because I find it very easy to relate with them. Besides the fact that young brains have more plasticity making it easier to learn, the opportunity to be taught it creatively, increments not only the possibilities of the acquisition, in this case, of another language, but also the chances of increasing their creativity too.
I consider myself as a creative person, who likes to share knowledge, and seeks for perfection.

Es una persona super comprometida y empeñada en tener una constante actualización en cuanto a todos sus conocimientos además de tener un sentido de la empatía muy marcado el cual hace que sus clases sean más didácticas, prácticas y con ello poder garantizar el aprendizaje de su estudiante particular.
La he visto dar clases y puedo decir que en efecto son extremadamente didácticas ya que implementa mecánicas enfocadas en divertir al alumno pero sin alejarse del contenido de la clase. Cabe destacar, por último que sus clases las construye en base a las necesidades del alumno por lo que cada estudiante es diferente.

Considero que Cinthia es una persona totalmente entregada a lo que hace, responsable y comprometida en cualquier aspecto de su vida desde que era pequeña. Llámese escuela o trabajo.
Una cualidad interesante es su pro actividad ante diversas situaciones, hace cosas que le corresponden sin necesidad que se le solicite, incluso hasta más.
Hábil de mente, facilidad de expresión y comprensión, le permiten darse a entender con claridad frente a las demás personas.
