About Felipe
I am passionate about languages!
I have traveled to many parts of the world, meeting and sometimes colliding with different cultures. I had the special opportunity to live with indigenous people (Aborigines) in Northern Australia. I am fascinated by the way other peoples live by changing their perception of the world; something that I see largely related to the phenomenon of language. This has motivated me to also learn Italian and French.
During my time in Australia, I dedicated myself to touring the country learning the accents and forms of English used by both natives and migrants from different countries (who also often use English with references to their own language of origin).
Thanks to my experience, I am able to empathize with my students in what usually confuses them, since many times I have found myself in the same situation. In the same way, I have the intuition to interpret what other people mean when they don't know how to express themselves well in the other language.
I am attentive to receiving criticism and I always try to do my best to create a pleasant and interesting atmosphere for conversation with each person. We are all unique and exceptional in our life experience! Is it worth learning English in a personalized way? Definitely.

A new language is a new way of thinking.
My pedagogy is for students to assimilate the way Anglo-Saxons (people whose native language is English) perceive the world. This is done in contrast to the way we intuit that something should be said in Spanish. From experience, this helps to better internalize and retain what has been learned, beyond memorizing.
The structure of each class varies depending on the level of English of the learner. I have experience teaching older people who have never had contact with the language. On the other hand, I have had intermediate and advanced level students looking to improve in specific areas, such as writing and pronunciation.
I have a scheme of extracurricular exercises that help improve the ability to retain English.
I use Duolingo for Schools to help me track student learning throughout the week. This helps them practice individually and continually expand their vocabulary.

Felipe me parece un excelente profesor. He intentado aprender inglés varias veces en el pasado pero nunca le logré tener suficiente interés. Su forma de explicar ha hecho que yo me motive a hablar el idioma de una forma que me sorprende, porque he visto un progreso grande. Clases y conversaciones muy dinámicas. Bastante paciente. Lo recomiendo!
Buena pedagogía, excelente persona. Bastante atento al proceso de mi aprendizaje. Me ayudó a entender temas de gramática en inglés que nunca había podido resolver en mi cabeza. Definitivamente valió la pena tomar sus clases.
Tenía muchos problemas de fonética y gramática en mi nivel de inglés, Felipe me ha aportado buenas estrategias en la clases y ahora me siento súper fluida al hablarlo, aparte las clases son súper espontáneas. Excelente profe!!
