About Kuniko
In High School I was the honors student who graduated with flying colors and a 3.7 GPA. I went home and did school, not much else. In college I was the 3.2 GPA girl who took advance Literature courses and creative writing classes, met incredible traveling authors, and gleaned fascinating tips on how to make it in the publishing industry. I also had a rich social life and was able to balance normal activities and have good grades (you can do it too).

My teaching method encourages individuality because not every student clings onto literature facts and concepts the exact same way. Not everyone can space out an essay over a month, or ace a crash essay the night before. What's important to me is teaching the common sense, non-convoluted way to understanding deep concepts. I break things down and ask what has worked for students in the past, So that I can more easily teach them to adapt to the current topic at hand. I apply literature themes and structural pieces, to real life scenarios and ideas. As a 22 year old, I am easily able to understand students in both grade school and college, and I can relate to current trends without having to google, using relevant information to translate century old text and ideas to real life.
