About Tony

My name is Tony and I have just completed my national service, waiting for my studies late next year in NUS. I have tutored many primary and secondary school students before and I believe I have the experience and am in touch with the current primary school syllabus for English thus am able to focus on key parts of it. I am a very light hearted and friendly person and my approach is one of a more calm one but I am at the core, a work-oriented person so my full focus would be on the agenda for the session and day.

About the lesson

Specialise in composition writing skills and brainstorming, strategies to approach paper 2 and honing oratory skills. For compo, approach would be to explore multiple topics and focus on essential features to stand out from others, increasing confidence during exams. Paper 2 approach would be to maximise time and methods to identify right answers quick and hone grammatical skills and expand vocabulary. Comprehension (cloze and open-ended) would be in focus to maximise marks.
