About Emi
I hold a Master’s Degree in English Language and Applied Communication, where I specialised in linguistics, communication strategies, and language acquisition methods. Over the past 9 years, I have taught students from diverse backgrounds, helping them improve fluency for academic, professional, and personal communication needs.
My teaching approach is student-centred, flexible, and practical. I adapt lessons based on each learner’s level, goals, and challenges, ensuring that every student receives clear guidance and steady progress without feeling overwhelmed. Beyond teaching, I continuously engage with global media, literature, and communication research to keep my lessons updated and relevant.
I also explore modern language teaching techniques and real-world communication trends to make learning more effective and practical. My English lessons are designed to help students develop strong communication skills while building confidence in speaking, writing, listening, and reading through structured and interactive learning. I focus on grammar clarity, vocabulary expansion, pronunciation improvement, sentence formation, and conversational fluency so students can use English naturally in real-life situations. Each lesson is designed to be practical, engaging, and easy to apply outside the classroom.
Beginners work on basic vocabulary, pronunciation, simple sentence structures, and guided reading practice to build foundational confidence. Intermediate learners focus on improving grammar accuracy, conversational flow, listening comprehension, and writing clarity through structured activities. Advanced students refine fluency, academic writing, professional communication, and expressive speaking for real-world or career-based use.
I also help students develop independent learning habits such as reading practice, vocabulary building strategies, and speaking exercises they can continue outside lessons. This ensures consistent progress and long-term language improvement even beyond classroom sessions.
