Hiya! How you doing?
I'm Jack, and I've graduated from university with a Drama degree. I specialise in Acting and in Technical Theatre [Lighting, Sound, AV, Pyrotechnics and Stage Management]. I'm now an Actor, teacher, and a Writer; proof that you can do A LOT with Drama and English! I've worked with ITV, Sky, Apple TV, Netflix and in a major London theatre, and these experiences are what make me great for you! :)
For those amongst you who are interested in English and/or History, I spend a lot of time around creative and academic reading and writing. I know how much of a struggle they can be, especially when you step up from GCSE to A Level. But it's okay, I'm here to help!
Please note that I sometimes have to travel, given the nature of my work. I will be able to accommodate lessons but I may be in a different time zone, so please give at least 24hrs notice before a Free Meeting :)

Learning is so important; when we learn the world becomes bigger and our lives become easier. Our first session together will be about getting to know each other, and what you personally want from our sessions. All of the materials I create for the sessions are custom made for you personally, meaning that you can get the maximum out of each one. This first session is vital for creating the most suitable progress tracker for you to ensure you reach your own goals.
One-way lectures aren't my style so we chat a lot during our sessions. If we're covering new content or topics, then I begin with introducing it and then, using questions, I let you grab the topic by the horns and make it your own. You'll be supported by a mixture of visual, audible and written materials. Also, provided you have the space, we can do some practical drama exercises when appropriate. Once more, my learning plans are flexible so if you suddenly have an assignment due or an upcoming exam we can deviate from the learning plan and focus on that.
