About Andey
I have always loved to read and get lost in a story. I have always dreamed of teaching others to love reading and be enamored by the written word as I have come to be. I always hoped that this would be through writing my own book, but after studying English at the University of Texas at Austin, I found myself teaching young people. After 10 years, I have decided to leave the classroom and grow as a reader, a writer, a teacher, and a professional. This has led me here! I hope that I can make a difference in your life!

As a teacher of 10 years, I understand the importance of meeting you where you are. Each lesson is tailored to each individual student and their needs. I love to study grammar and reading mechanics through reading stories & novels. If we are looking over your essay, I will read it ahead of time and make my own notes. Then, I will have you tell me your notes. We will discuss our notes, revisions, and edits in detail. I will not just tell you what to fix, but I will teach you HOW to fix it. My goal is for you to not need me anymore! :)
