Teaching Techniques and Methodology: I believe in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to the unique needs of each student. My teaching methodology combines practical examples, interactive discussions, and structured problem-solving to enhance understanding and retention. For language-focused lessons like IELTS and TOEFL, I emphasise skill-building in reading, writing, listening, and speaking, using real-life scenarios and exam-specific strategies. In subjects like Mathematics, Accounting, and Finance, I use step-by-step explanations, hands-on exercises, and personalised feedback to help students master complex concepts. Typical Length of a Lesson: Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes, but I can adjust the duration based on the student’s needs and attention span. For younger students or those requiring intensive preparation, I offer flexibility to ensure the most effective learning experience. Qualifications and Experience: I am a PhD researcher in Finance at the University of Liverpool, with two years of experience teaching university-level seminars in Introduction to Finance and Introduction to Accounting. I have also taught over 35 hours of online lessons through the TeachMe2 platform, specialising in English language exams (IELTS and TOEFL), Mathematics, and Finance. My background includes a Master’s degree in Financial Engineering and a strong foundation in Actuarial Science and Economics. Additionally, I hold an IELTS score of 7.5, showcasing my proficiency in English. Who the Lessons Are For: My lessons are suitable for students of all levels and ages, from secondary school to university and adult learners. Whether you’re preparing for academic exams like IELTS or TOEFL, need help with school subjects like Maths, or want to strengthen your understanding of Accounting or Finance, I design lessons to meet your specific goals and learning style.
