My lessons are structured in a conversational way. I realized in high school that just sitting down and listening to a teacher go on and on for an hour is a passive way of learning which is very ineffective. That is why at the beginning of Uni, I took initiative to engage in conversation with the lecturer during the lecture and after as this is the best way to learn. I also adapt to the pace of my students as I believe each and everyone is very different and learns at a different pace despite the school system having convinced us otherwise. I base my lessons on my student's interests, for example, if a student likes anime, I use the figures of speech used in their favorite show to teach them, or link the prescribed novel at school to their favorite anime story or movie, the same would apply if a student is interested in literature, action movies or even sports. My lessons are very student-orientated and I go above and beyond to make sure my students do well.
